Dear Bassin’ For Kids Sponsors & Participants,

The weekend of September 8th, 9th and 10th has been confirmed as this years 34th Annual Bass Tournament, once again being held at Camp Wabikon on beautiful Lake Temagami.

Please bring your own pillows, sleeping bags, flashlights, snacks, live bait if you wish, and if you prefer, an additional sponge to soften your bed. Washrooms and showers already have lights but you can bring a lantern if you prefer, providing it is battery operated.

Our total raised for the Kids is now at $ 1,078,530.  This money was spent where it was needed most; on children with cancer and other disabilities, sponsoring these children for summer camps, donations to Sick Kids Hospital, juvenile diabetes programs, Ronald McDonald House in Toronto, and helping many families with financial problems in order to afford travel and accommodation while their child was receiving medical care.  Your donations have been used to help children and their families in many ways.

This year we again can have 270 fishermen attend (90 boats with 3 per boat).  The cost of each boat remains the same as previous years at $300 and we are happy to now offer email money transfers, please use the email address found below. 

Bassin’ For Kids has grown over the past 34 years from a small group of friends trying to help local children to a large, volunteer-driven organization and our sponsors have grown with us.   As sponsors you are always welcome to register a boat, have some fun and see for yourselves what Bassin’ For Kids is all about.  Just call me at (705) 647-8279, you are always welcome.
